International Student Ministry
TalkTime is our Friday night "event" for talking, playing games, sharing cultures, and eating food. All International students in the Spokane Cheney area are invited.
Our goal is to help International students build meaningful relationships with Americans. We want to help them understand our culture as well as help us understand their culture.
TalkTime meets, usually, on the first Friday of each month from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. There are times when we meet on the second Friday due to scheduling conflict. The venue for TalkTime is at Fourth Memorial Church.
Although we meet at Fourth Memorial Church, we have agreed to keep our discussion topics to social/cultural issues unless asking specifically about our beliefs. If students are interested in learning about Christianity we provide other separate meeting times for that discussion.
